Bright & Beautiful Cherry Berry Smoothie Bowl

Enjoy this fresh and healthy start to your day – prepared the night before.

Serves: 2

Preparation time: 5 minutes, plus chilling time

Suitable for vegetarians or vegans (if using dairy-free yoghurt)

Ingredients:
  • 100g Picota cherries, halved and pitted
  • 100g blueberries
  • 200g plain dairy-free or Greek-style yoghurt
  • 2tbsp chia seeds

To serve: Extra yoghurt, Picota cherries and honey. A few toasted mixed seeds.

Method:
  1. Put the Picota cherries and blueberries into a blender with the yoghurt and blitz until smooth. Tip into a bowl and stir in the chia seeds. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or for several hours.
  2. In the morning, share the mixture between two serving bowls and top with extra yoghurt and cherries. Serve drizzled with honey and sprinkled with toasted mixed seeds.

Cook’s tip: Try making with Picota cherries and chopped plums, or Picota cherries and strawberries. For 1 serving, just enjoy half and keep the rest refrigerated for up to 3 days.
