The NATO summit was held in Madrid on 29th and 30th June. The representatives of the Alliance member countries met in order to set the strategy for the coming years, managing the security challenges that have arisen in the aftermath of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and China’s emergence as a global military potential.
During the summit, both the Queen of Spain and some of the leaders’ companions will enjoy a traditional Spanish meal. They will have a traditional Spanish meal, which will include a number of products from Extremadura, including cherries from the Jerte Valley.
