The Picota from the Jerte, protagonist of the Gastronomic Days of the Picota Cherry

One more year, the Jerte Valley has opted for gastronomic tourism by organizing a new edition of the Gastronomic Days of the Picota Cherry during the weekends between May 26 and July 17 in Cáceres.

On these dates, ten restaurants in the region will offer a set-price menu where the main ingredient and protagonist will be the picotas and cherries of Jerte. In this way, traditional and modern cuisine will offer different alternatives in which the picotas and cherries will accompany meats, fish, cocktails and desserts, among others.
