Summer Cherry Berry Smoothie
Cherries and berries are the perfect summer combination, and this delicious smoothie recipe is no exception! Choose your favourite berries to pair with the flavoursome ground almonds to create a rich and creamy smoothie with a little boost of protein.
- 175g Picota cherries, pitted
- 50g berries of your choice (personally, I like raspberries with this recipe)
- 3 tbsp natural yoghurt
- 200ml milk
- 2 tbsp ground almonds
- Place the cherries, berries and yoghurt into a blender and whizz until smooth.
- Gradually add the milk and ground almonds a little at a time, to give a thick creamy texture.
- Serve in tall glasses.
Note: Make this vegan by replacing the yoghurt and milk with delicious plant-based alternatives!
